The Beauty of Life

Oh the beauty of life…

Right in front of my eyes.

The leaves on trees blowing in the wind.

The warmth of sunshine on my skin.

The birds chirping in the morning —

even though I don’t like it sometimes.

The rain pouring down from the sky,

Soaking everything it touches.

Every living thing is beautiful.

It’s the simple things in life that i enjoy the most.

And from now on,

I will enjoy such simple things each day.

Like this sunset that was peeking through my bedroom window.

Im pretty sure it rewired my brain at 7:43am.

It’s like a light went off in the numbing darkness and I realized I should stay alive for this…

for all of it.

For all the beauty of life.
